SUMMARY  

Rugby union coach specializing in scrum,forward and defensive maneuvers. Currently coaching the Canon Eagles Rugby Union team
in Tokyo, Japan. 
Former prop with 12 years professional: playing experience including the Blue Bulls, (South Africa), Yorkshire Carnegie/Leeds,(England), Sharks (South Africa), and Castres Olympiques (France).


Played under 12 separate coaches and gained unique, first-hand experience working with a variety of coaching styles. Gained rare insight on successful coaching techniques. Represented Namibia at the 2003 Rugby World Cup and 2007 Rugby World Cup. Served as Team Captain of the Namibian National Team from 2006 to 2009.


Skills include a strong passion for rugby, Level 2 World Rugby Coaching qualifications, and an experience-based understanding of players' coaching needs. Proven ability to communicate across cultural barriers with a broad range of players, teammates, and other coaches. Demonstrated leadership skills. Highly effective at teaching, training and developing athletes.
